Rules & Regulations

No pets are allowed on grounds. Sternwheel Captains do have pets that need to come off the boats, thank you for your understanding.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
No bikes, skateboards, roller blades, etc. allowed on grounds.
No swimming is permitted in the river.
No tents or canopies are to be erected on the grounds.
No unattended blankets or chairs are to be left on the levee bank.
All permanent and temporary parking notices are to be observed. Violators are subject to towing.
No solicitation of any type is allowed on the grounds without ORSF consent.
The ORSF committee reserves the right to establish rules as needed for the safety of our visitors.

OHIO RIVER STERNWHEEL FESTIVAL

Each year, the Ohio River Sternwheel festival draws crowds of up to 100,000 people to Ohio’s oldest city for a party in the streets. At the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum rivers, festival-goers enjoy paddle-wheelers, events, and the famous fireworks display. Our sponsors and volunteers are essential for the continuation of this beloved festival tradition in our riverboat town.
