Friday, 9:30 to 11:00 PM

ABOUT CALLISTA CLARK: Every song has a story, and at just 18 years old, Callista Clark has a lot to say, wielding her creative gifts as both a defense and an instrument of peace as she puts her heart on display. With Real To Me (Big Machine Records) production Top 20, It’s Cause I Am,” Callista became country radio’s most successful new artist debut of 2021. She shows no signs of slowing down as her soulful next single, “Gave It Back Broken,” made an impact on country radio in May 2022. Blending inspiration from authentic, timeless classics with the sounds of her Georgia roots, Clark “commands her career from its breakthrough beginnings” (American Songwriter). She has collaborated with many of Country music’s leading songwriters, including Jonathan Singleton, Laura Veltz, Nicolle Galyon, and Emily Shackleton,  proof that Clark can hold her own among Nashville’s most prominent hitmakers. The iHeartCountry On The Verge Artist  made her national television debut on Live with Kelly & Ryan, where she was touted as “the next big thing in Country music.” The momentum has continued, and BILLBOARD has featured Callista as the only Country artist in  BILLBOARD’s annual “21 Under 21” list two years in a row, plus she was the youngest member ever named to CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2022. Amassing over 130 million views across all socials + YouTube,  Scooter Braun (SB Projects) and Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Label Group) took notice of her engaging online presence. THW

Friday, 8:00 to 9:30 PM

Fan voted as “best country band” in Pittsburgh Magazine’s “Best of the ‘Burgh 2013 Readers’ Poll,” THW is comprised of band members Abby Abbondanza (vocals), Jeff Volek (bass), Junior Guthrie (guitar) and Keith Kleinhampl (drums). Abbondanza, Volek, and Guthrie are original members of the nearly legendary, local favorite and nationally-recognized Povertyneck Hillbillies who parted ways in 2008.

Since reforming as THW with a reunion concert in 2012, the group’s deep-rooted country grit sound has received praise from multiple local outlets, including being named one of the “best breakout music acts in Pittsburgh” by Pittsburgh’s KDKA.

The popular tri-state area group released a self-titled EP, “The Hillbilly Way,” shortly after their reunion and followed it with the full-length album “Just Go With It.”

Recently, THW reunited with Pittsburgh native and veteran music industry executive Shawn Pennington when joining Pennington Entertainment’s roster alongside Grammy-nominated duo Thompson Square and platinum-selling band Parmalee.

After signing with the Nashville-based entertainment group, THW announced the release of their highly anticipated single, “Best Night of Our Lives.” The party anthem was written by Keifer and Shawn Thompson of multi-platinum selling country duo, Thompson Square, alongside highly respected Nashville songwriter JT Harding, known for writing chart-topping hits like Uncle Kracker’s “Smile,” Blake Shelton’s “Sangria,” and Kenny Chesney’s “Somewhere With You,” to name a few.

THW released the single, “Damn I Just Wanna Kiss You,” worldwide on Friday March 9, 2018. The song was written by Matt Thomas of Parmalee and Tommy Cecil, who has penned hits for Luke Bryan and Jake Owen

Tina - Tribute to The Queen of Rock & Roll, Staring Cookie Watkins

Friday, 9:30 to 11:00

Cookie Watkins brings more than a celebrity impersonation to her performance. An international touring Tribute Artist, Cookie has entertained hundreds of thousands of Tina Turner fans around the world. Critics and fans alike consider her the number one tribute to Tina Turner in the world.

Music has been Cookie’s mainstay since Duke Ellington brought her onstage to warble out a few tunes at the ripe age of fourteen. When she turned eighteen, the Duke gave Cookie a coming-out party at the Rainbow Room. She even warranted a special mention in his book “Music Is My Mistress.”

Always thought of as the little girl with the big woman’s voice, Cookie studied opera and classical music before her out-of-the-box smash hit “Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover” brought her to the forefront of the dance movement. Soon she was lending her vocal expertise to such smash hits as Shades of Love’s “Keep in Touch” (Body to Body).

No stranger to Broadway, Cookie also performed in hit stage musicals like “Guys & Dolls,’ “Sweet Charity,” and “Hair” before touring with the original cast of “Beehive” and Marie Wilson.

Cookie allows the audience to savor the saucy effects of Tina’s “Higher” before a seamless transition to the throaty “Better Be Good to Me” followed by “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” But Cookie and her audience know nothing tops the high-energy stand-up hit and closer “Proud Mary,” and that is exactly what Cookie does Tina – “Proud!”
